The eucalyptus comes from the plains of Australia, as wood was discovered over the years rapid adaptability and growth, the former placed it as a wood for industrial use in much of the world. The applications and uses of the same are mainly focused on the preparation of wooden floors such as boards, parquet floors, mosaics and others. It is a wood characteristically hard of long veins and very close to each other, the colors of this species of regular way present / display tones clear and appearance of slight yellowish tonalities. As a species in the application of large parts may present deformations and cracks as it is extremely fibrous, it is not recommended to use parts and pieces such as pillars or beams. However, if applied as skirting moldings, skirting boards or wood overalls being an excellent alternative to accompany the completion of wood floors for example.
